Hello! I'm Jen, the creative mind and heart behind Rose Lee Pewter. Rose Lee was born from a love of dark art and traditional metalwork. Every piece is handcrafted here in Sheffield using the ancient technique of sandcasting — molten pewter poured into sand moulds to create unique, one-of-a-kind items.
From occult talismans and tarot-inspired pendants to gothic home decor, each creation draws from the shadows. No two pieces are ever exactly alike — that's the beauty of handmade craft.
The process is hands-on from start to finish: imagining the piece, shaping the master, preparing the sand mould, casting in pewter, and finishing every surface by hand. It's slow, deliberate work — and that's exactly how it should be.
Each piece begins with a vision — a story, a symbol, or a thread of folklore — that becomes a completely original design. Nothing here is off-the-shelf; every Rose Lee creation starts in Jen's imagination.
From that design, Jen shapes a master pattern by hand — often sculpted in clay — so every curve and detail is captured. This original is the cast master: the form every pewter piece in the run is taken from.
The master is pressed into casting sand to form a mould, then molten pewter is poured in. Sand, heat, and timing all leave their mark — so no two castings are ever quite the same.
Each piece is cleaned, polished, and finished by hand. Small variations in texture and finish are not flaws — they are proof that something real was made, not manufactured.
